Frequently Asked Questions
Do these lights have an on/off switch?
Yes. The on/off switch is located on the solar panel box.
Can multiple strings be strung together?
No. Each string of lights must have its own solar panel.
So far so good! Beautiful warm light for my rock walled garden. I hope they last a long time. They’re not bulky they give the right type of lighting I was looking for.
I live in a resort town, therefore, the neighborhood in the off-season (about 6 months a year during the colder weather) is mostly dark. I was using conventional electrical string lights across my front fencing to brighten up the yard. These are much more convenient and once the solar panels have been fully exposed to sunlight, the rope lights are on at least 6 hours. I've found that they stay lit thru the evening even with partial sun expsoure (by that, I don't mean the solar panel placement, which are in direct sunlight most of the day), if the sun is out only a few hours or so. Compared to other solar lights that I have seen, these rope lights really shine, with a nice warm glow, which is what I prefer. I run a business out of my home, so I keep these types of outside lights on all year long. I'd attach photos, but don't see where I can attach them. I have the rope lights strung along a seond floor deck railing (8-feet fit perfectly) and across my backyard picket fence (16-feet)...both sets work well. I attached them by using fishing line. I highly recommend the rope lights. I also purchased the string lights for my front fence, however, due to the cold temps, have not been able to string them up as yet, but look forward to having them replace my old fashioned electrical lights. They're a bit more money than than the solar you see in the big box stores, but I think these are well worth the price.
We bought 2 strings. One is still going strong 10 months later. The 2nd string lasted 5 months and will need to be replaced.
Never got my item yet!!!!
I purchased 2 Rope lighting but unfortunately one is no longer working. Only went on for 1 day. Would you like me to send it back? Thank you.
