So far not so good. I let it charge for 3 days and it worked well the first night. The second night it was maybe 1/3 as bright and only lasted a few hours. It was an overcast winter day. The temperature was mid 30s. I was so hopeful the first night I almost ordered another. Glad I didn’t. They may be fine during summer but not so much now. That was pointed out in the accompanying instruction book but not so clear on the internet post
So far excellent product. Easy setup and lights up the neighborhood entrance sign very well
A good test of what it can do is to start using it on the shortest days of the year. It goes on brightly after sunset and lights a nice area until I go to bed Still glowing when I get up but not lighting much. That is fine as after 8 hours of light during the day it is ready again at sunset. The brightness is great and I cut down on electrical bills!
For brightness it does not disappoint; good inside a 40'x48' barn for general lighting. For ease of installation, no problems at all. For customer support, excellent. If you want it for dusk to dawn every night, no problems there, but if you want to use it as a regular light, there can be a issue. It has an on/off switch, but the solar panel senses light and doesn't allow the light to turn on unless it's dark. And this can be a problem when the solar panel is outside and the light is inside.
These lights are great and super easy to setup. They are very bright and do a great job lighting the entrance for our neighborhood. I would highly recommend them.
