One of the brighter spot lights on the market! This new Gama Sonic solar spot light has been tested and approved by our team. The light comes with a detachable solar panel and both ground and wall mounting hardware for the light.

This light is 20% brighter than our own high output solar spot light. It utilizes 1 large LED, which means it runs as efficiently as any light out there and twice the intensity of most spot lights!

This is a full cast aluminium light, not cheap plastic!

Very Bright Lights/Salt Air Exposure
Nevaniel Black (|Bethlehem, PA) 6/22/2015 7:48 AM
The solar light is the brightest and well built on the market. I use in the Outerbanks, NC near the ocean and the salt air causes the light body to pit. It becomes very difficult to adjust the lens director by turning on the screw threads after several months so place in position and don't expect to change later or lubricate with grease when mounting. The other major issue is the solar part of the light only lasts 1 year. Two things happen, the on/off switch becomes inoperative and the solar panel stops charging the battery. A replacement is required at that point. OR If a switch is not needed, open the solar panel and cut the wires to the switch and solder the wires to bypass the switch since it is not needed. The light still continues to work if you have a new solar panel. This has happened 4 times so far but I still like the light. I have not had a problem with the battery pack or the bulb burning out after 1 yesr. The manufacturer just needs to make some minor improvements for salt air use. Only one solar light made in China with a metal powder coated body holds up (3+ years)longer in salt air than this light BUT has 1/3 the brightness and requires battery replacement every year.

I ordered this light, along with the high output light, and they both arrived very quickly. The light is quite bright, however, it is very sensitive and the battery does not last that long. When I come home and turn onto my street, the headlights from my car briefly hit the sensor and either cause the light to go off (if it was on), go on (if it was off), or flicker. Also, the solar panel does not charge enough in overcast days to light up during those evenings. It seems well-built.

This spot light is perfect for lighting my wall-mounted flag at night. It is very easy to position the solar collector and the actual light wherever you want because the connection between them is very long. Before using the light for the first time, I charged the solar collector for about 56 hours. That seems to have done the trick because it has worked wonderfully for nine to ten hours. I would definitely recommend this spot light to anyone looking for a flag spot light or something similar. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
