My husband bought this light for me and I Love it. We put it in my front yard and the first night it was very bright all night night long. He is now wanting to buy some more to put on our pier on our pond. I would recommend this light to anyone wanting a post solar light. I am very pleased with it and it really looks good at our country home.

Received the product as promised. However, ther were no instructions on how to handle so I put it on my pole at 1 oclock. I waited several hours and sent a message of no instructions and where are the batteries kept. I received a message around 6 pm (dark outside) that said to take off the top with a hard twist and turn it over for the on/off button. I got out my ladder an removed the top as instructed and found the on/off switch. I pushed the switch and had immediate light. The light lasted all night. It would have been a lot easier if they included instructions.
Pleasantly Surprised

I purchased this lamp on May 5 ( Sunday ), and received it 3 days later. I installed it with the optional adapter on top of a 4"x4" post the day I received it. With only a few hours of sunlight left to charge the unit, it lit up that night. After several days of full Texas sunlight to charge the unit, it stayed on all night... I checked at 4, and then 6 a.m. as the first slivers of daylight were starting to light the sky. It would be an understatement to say that prior to buying the lamp, I was concerned if it was as bright and if it stayed on as long as promised; and for the price it better deliver! I am pleasantly surprised that I believe it has delivered as promised. It is not blinding bright, but it has a soft 6-8 foot range of reasonable output. I live in a semi rural area with no street lighting and this does the trick without having to purchase a traditional electric streetlamp. The lamp claims to have a three year battery life... we shall see, it also says that there is a high/low switch internally. I did open up the lamp as per instructions but could not find it, nor could I open the compartment where the batteries are. The overall quality and craftsmanship of the lamp is a bit low for the price, but I am being harsh here; most people don't have my critical eyes. I hope that we can get at least three years use out of the batteries. I would, and have already recommended this lamp to others.
